In support of the Chinese Government's effort to bring world-class safety levels to China's mining industry, AmerCable was a Corporate Sponsor of the inaugural International Forum on Mine Safety held in Beijing on June 14-15.

AmerCable is the industry leader in mining cable safety training and education. Each year our field engineers work with hundreds of miners to make sure they are up to date on best cable handling practices and the latest in splicing techniques. AmerCable is also the innovation leader in the industry when it comes to cable designs that enhance mine safety and create higher levels of productivity. As a key provider of power cables to the Chinese mining industry, AmerCable was happy to lend support to this prestigious event.

This event, hosted by the State Administration of Worker Safety (SAWS), brought together safety leaders and innovators from around the world. Presenting on behalf of AmerCable were president and CEO Bob Hogan, Vice President of Mining and Industrial David Nasky, and Senior China Underground Engineer Davy Wang.

Other sponsoring companies included Joy Global, Peabody Energy, Rio Tinto Minerals and Matrix Design Group.
